Red Dragon was founded back in 1975 when two highly skilled and pioneering automotive engineers became fascinated by darts and the potential of tungsten. If you’re looking for new darts, or new dart parts, we always recommend that any players start with the pieces that affect your game most, such as flights and shafts, before adding protection, storage and any other accessories around them. This gives you the opportunity to find the perfect setup without buying additional elements you do not need.
What To Look For: Start by choosing a steel or soft tip and then compare different weights, barrel shapes and grip styles.
Good Starting Point: A comfortable mid-weight set with a grip style you feel will sit nicely in your hand.
What To Look For: Flights and shafts influence the way a dart travels through the air and the angle at which it reaches the board. If your darts fly with a wobble (side-to-side) or land with their tail in the air, changing the flight shape, shaft length or material can make a real difference to how your darts behave.
Good Starting Point: Standard flights (also known as No. 2 flights) paired with medium or short shafts, depending on how the darts sit on the board.
What To Look For: If you play steel-tip darts, a quality bristle dartboard gives you a proper setup, even when practicing at home.
Good Starting Point: Opt for a regulation-size board, as this will be the size you use if you enter any tournaments. It’s also beneficial to pick a board with a clear numbering system and a removable number ring, as this allows players to rotate the board regularly, helping to prevent wear on highly targeted areas.
What To Look For: Surrounds and cabinets help protect the wall around your board from missed darts. A surround sits directly around the board and takes up very little additional space whereas a cabinet is larger but provides a more traditional experience.
Good Starting Point: Base your decision on experience and style preference. Surrounds are best for more experienced players but a cabinet can make for a real statement piece.
What To Look For: Consider how much equipment you normally carry with you and whether or not you want to store your darts fully assembled or in parts.
Good starting point: Players who regularly compete or travel may benefit from a larger case with dedicated space for replacement parts, whereas others may prefer a smaller case with room solely for your main set of darts.

DELIVERY SUMMARY:
ORDER CONFIRMATION & DELIVERY TIME
For UK orders, customers have the following shipping options:
Orders for delivery outside of the UK, will be dispatched on a Tracked Courier service.
The majority of orders leave us within 24 hours. This may slightly vary during the peak season (October-February). Orders placed within our peak season may be subject to a further delay of up to 72 hours as this is generally our busiest season of the year.
If you have chosen the Express Courier option, we take every effort to ensure your items leave within 24 hours. However, during the busy season, this guarantee has to be extended to within 48 hours.
Please note that for delivery purposes - items are for Monday-Friday only. Items purchased over a weekend, or Friday after 3pm, will leave on Monday.
**Sometimes adverse weather conditions and industrial action may limit the services provided to us by Royal Mail or Couriers - please note that we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by external companies**
FAST TRACK SERVICE
Any orders that choose our Fast Track Service will be guaranteed to leave us within the timeframe specified. If ordered before 3pm (Monday-Friday) then the order will leave us the same day. Customers must enter their full details online, in order that any queries can be dealt with as soon as possible. Any orders placed on Friday PM or over the weekend will leave us on Monday. Fast Track service does not guarantee next day delivery - only that the order will be sent by us into the postal system, via your chosen delivery method. OUT-OF-STOCK ITEMS
We do our utmost to complete all orders fully and may from time to time substitute an out of stock product with a similar item or duplicate items already purchased to avoid any delays in shipping. If the darts you have ordered are out of stock - we will notify you and give you an estimated time of when they are due in.
OVERSEA'S ORDERS: (NON-UK MAINLAND)
Please note that the shipping costs provided by the site must be regarded as an estimate and should the item cost considerably more, we reserve the right to withhold the order, and notify you of the expected delivery cost. This will then be billed separately. Please find more information in our International Deliveries section.
IMPORT DUTIES (FOR ALL EU COUNTRIES)
When we ship orders to individual customers (retail orders) to EU countries and the order value is under €150, we charge you VAT at the relevant tax rate for the delivery country. Therefore, you will not be liable to pay any local import duties when taking receipt of the delivery. When we ship retail orders with a value over €150 or to businesses (trade orders), to EU countries – we do not charge our local tax (VAT). However, you are liable to pay any local import duties when taking receipt of the order.
IMPORT DUTIES (FOR ALL COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE EU)
When we ship any orders to countries outside of the EU - we do not charge our local tax (VAT). However, you are liable to pay any local import duties when taking receipt of the delivery.
SPECIFIC DELIVERY REQUEST
If you are ordering goods for a particular holiday departure date or as a gift for a birthday etc, please inform us so we can make every effort to meet this deadline. Please note, to guarantee pre-Christmas delivery we require you to order before 18th December.
PERSONALISED ITEMS
Orders that include personalised items will not be despatched until the personalised items are finished, unless by prior arrangement. Personalised items can take an additional 2-6 days to complete, and occasionally slightly longer during the busy season (Oct-Feb).
PERSONALISED ITEMS RETURNS POLICY
Any personalised item(s) (flights, shafts, surrounds, clothing etc) cannot be returned for a refund or exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights.
RETURNS POLICY
Any items which are returned for refund or exchange must be received back at our mail order department within 14 days in a new and unused condition and with original packing intact, along with any receipts. We strongly recommend you use a recorded/insured delivery service as we regret that we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit. Please note that if you require goods to be sent out in exchange, we do make a further carriage charge. For exchanging large or heavy items the carriage charge will be £7. All darts sent back for a refund will incur a £2 administration fee, with all other items incurring a 20% administration fee. Any refund will be made in the tender type originally transacted.
